Here's step by step of how I got to the finished product.
The shrimp was frozen and already cooked. I thawed it overnight and seasoned it a few hours before I actually cooked it. I added some chickpeas. You can also add potatoes, but I was lazy to cut them up lol.
Seasoning included:
Adobo
Garlic Powder
Black Pepper
Garlic & Herb Seasoning
Curry Powder
Shrimp Seasoning (Maggi)
Chopped Garlic & Onions
Sorry for the poor picture quality, my camera battery died :( and had to use my phone.

Seasoned and ready to go! |
I prepared the chickpeas first with a little olive oil or butter, whichever you prefer. I added some chopped onion and garlic that I had cut up for the shrimp then added the chickpeas with some curry powder.
I then removed the chickpeas from the pan, then began to cook the shrimp and added a little scotch bonnet pepper (can find in any West Indian grocery) and hot sauce (from Trinidad, can't buy in stores sorry!). If it ain't spicy it ain't right!
After the shrimp was ready, I added back the chickpeas.
I left the stove on too high and dry out my damn gravy lol. Still taste good though!
I also made some broccoli and white rice.
POW! You know you want some ;)
